As 2013 comes to a close, so does our collaboration with the creative folks at Poetry Northwest. It’s been a fun challenge and we’ve seen some super inspiring submissions in this series. Look for a recap of all the winning images at the end of this month.
Poetry Northwest (@poetrynw), Instagramers Seattle (@Igers_Seattle), and JUXT (@wearejuxt) invite you to finish off our series of poetry challenges by showing us what 2013 has meant to you or could have meant to you. Capture a quiet moment, distill a sweeping event—anything goes. For this challenge, the image you create IS your poem.
Challenge Rules
1. Submission dates: 12/1/13 – 12/31/13
2. Post a photo to Instagram and tag it with #2013poem and #ponwphoto
3. Poetry Northwest, Instagramers Seattle & JUXT will pick the winner who will receive a year-long subscription (2 issues) to Poetry Northwest
4. Unlimited entries
5. Any photos posted after the close of the challenge will not be considered
6. Poetry Northwest, Instagramers Seattle & JUXT reserve the right to flag or remove any photo deemed inappropriate for any reason
7. By participating, you understand that Poetry Northwest, Instagramers Seattle, & JUXT may reproduce and display your photo at future events and you will be notified if we intend to do so
